Southwest Credit Education Services team delivers collection
and recovery services to educational institutions for student
receivables including:
- Federally insured student loans
- Institutional loans
- Tuition fees
- Campus fees and fines
Not unlike the traditional student financial aid package
that is made up from different sources of aid, former students
may be indebted to multiple departments within an institution.
Student debts owed to institutions are diverse as library
fines, parking fees, housing fees and dining charges. Non-payment
of institutional debts impacts the operating budgets of various
service sectors on campus.
Our systems are designed and built with the capacity to customize
and develop new programs to meet your specific needs. With
this in mind, existing programs can be modified and/or new
programs can be developed to meet the specifications required
by our clients.
Southwest Credit’s collection system provides ultimate
flexibility in designing a collection program that will fit
within the needs of any institution. If desired, institutional
accounts can either be set up with separate reporting for
each department within the campus or combined into one report
for each former student.
Our specially trained collectors understand the rules and
regulations that apply to defaulted student loans, especially
the rehabilitation and consolidation processes. They strive
to motivate borrowers to resume payments or resolve their
debt through all available means.
